# $RIVUS Token

RivusDAO is a decentralised autonomous organisation that manages liquid staking protocols by using voting power of governance token (RIVUS) holders to decide on major parameters like, for example, setting charges, allocating node operators and oracles etc. In addition, DAO will accrue service fees which will be spent on research and development, incentives for liquidity mining and upgrading the protocol.
