# Dual Yield System

Dual Yield is when you earn more rewards in more than one currency. By using RivusDAO's liquid staking protocol, users are rewarded on a dual yield basis consisting of an APY for staked TAO + a bonus APY from $RIVUS. By allocating a small percentage of total supply for emissions and rewards, $RIVUS can exclude the necessity of minting in their process. By offering this, RivusDAO will give a competitive edge in terms of rewards.
